I just noticed I have one week left of my premium membership!   WHAT?  That time passed FAST!  I was planning to try to buy my own this time too and I just don't know if I'll be able to afford it right now.  We just bought a whole bunch of materials for finishing our basement and starting up our garden and grass (which, since this house was vacant for a year... really needs help!) and I don't know what to do!

I've been given premium membership more than once so I really can't expect it again... So, I'll just deal with this for a while.  I'll still be able to keep up with news article features and whatnot instead of journal ones.  We'll see how long I last.  I might cave and do a little begging to my hubby to fork out a little money for my hobby. But it sort of isn't as important as other things right now.

That being said, I wanted to congratulate myself you know, because I'm so humble.

"I wanna touch the moon."
"Huh?" I asked stupidly, glancing up as his thin finger pointed upwards. "You what?"
"I want to touch it." His voice was soft, velvety.
I turned towards him, his face bathed in the gentle glow of the waxing moon. He looked eerily like an angel, not someone meant for this world. "So become an astronaut. Then you can see it up close."
He shook his head. "No, I mean really touch it, feel its very life pulsing." He looked at me, his beyond blue eyes shining with that look. The one that told me he was in a far off world, beyond my touch. I hated that look. I was jealous of what he saw, the attention it got from him.
"That's stupid," I replied bluntly, hoping to direct his attention back to me. It worked momentarily. He scowled at me, and then huffed, his breath making little clouds in the chilling fall air. His leg swung along the windowsill for a moment and he flexed his foot. I watched, entranced. He had the power to do that to me wit

:thumb118553313: :thumb156200942: Baby StepsAll of your promises shatter at my feet like icicles falling from a gutter in February.  I pray that I heard you wrong, that my head was just playing evil tricks on me, but as I gaze up at your face the emptiness in your stare is undeniable.  I barely feel the coldness of the foyer tiles against my knees as I pull at your shirt and beg you to stay.  My mind spins and I feel light headed and foggy like someone put something in my drink.  This is just a horrible nightmare, I know it is.  I can see your lips moving as you try to push away my hands that are clawing at your clothes, but I can't hear any words.  With a rough push from you, I lose my grip and you turn away from my grasp.  It's so hard to see thru the haze of tears but I can tell your hand is on the door knob.  As the front door slams blackness encompasses me and I fall the rest of the way to the floor.
